The weather has been amazing (and hot!). We didn't have any plans this last weekend, so I was hoping our little family could make a day trip to a lake to play in some water, but unfortunately, Peter needed to go into work on Saturday. And what was even worse was he couldn't go in until after 1 pm due to some work conflict with others. So I made plans that day to get together with another mom friend, BJ, and her two boys. We met up at Picnic Point and talked for about two hours while our boys played in the sand and water.

Then, on Sunday, we finished our weekend off by receiving an invite over to Anne and Erik's for a swimming/bbq get-together with a few other families.
Kristjan swam almost the entire six hours we were over there. Here he is putting on some fins.
