Snowshoeing Trip

Over Thanksgiving weekend, Peter and Daniel headed up Stevens Pass for an overnight snowshoeing trip. They said it was very peaceful and very quiet on their trip. Lucky them :)

Gobble Gobble!!

Hope everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving!! We headed over to Aunt Janet and Uncle Tom's house for our traditional Nielsen turkey dinner. The food was yummy and the company was great! The only downside to this visit was my allergies acted up really bad while I was there. I couldn't figure out why until Aunt Janet made a comment about the cat. I had completely forgot she had a cat, which I'm extremely allergic to! Haha. Next year I'll remember to take lots of benedryl. Other than that, turkey day was awesome! We headed home in the late afternoon so I could take a nap before heading out shopping with Jessica for 'black friday'.

Snow Day!!!

School was canceled all of last week due to the snow. Clifford and Kristjan couldn't wait to go outside and play in it.

Turkey Day in Yakima

Friday we drove down with Tricia and Riley to Yakima to spend the weekend down there. My Aunt Susie flew up from California to visit. It was great to see her. Last time we saw each other was about five years ago. We also visited with our close family friend Maria and her two girls, Chealsae and Bella. We took the boys skating where we were able to meet up with Pete's family so the boys could spend time with their cousins. We went out to dinner at Red Robin. Our friend Grace was able to come out to dinner with us, then afterwards Pete, Grace and I went out for some coffee and much needed catch-up time. Sunday Pete and I cooked up an early turkey dinner before having to pack up and head back home. It was a quick, busy but enjoyable weekend.
