Blue & Gold Ceremony

Last Sunday was our Blue & Gold. Peter's parents and the Brignone family attended to watch Clifford and Kristjan advance in cub scouts. It was an enjoyable evening and the boys were so happy that everyone could come!

Party Time!

Last Saturday we went to Island Time to celebrate Kristjan's birthday with his school friends. The place is small and has frozen yogurt, an arcade, play area and lazer tag. All the kids had so much fun. At first, we were concerned that two hours would drag on and we would have to keep buying tokens for all the kids to keep them busy. Surprisingly, that wasn't the case. Between the kids running around playing, spending tokens on games and cashing in their tickets for prizes, we thought we were going to run out of time for dessert and presents! Plus, during their lazer tag game, one of the guns stopped working, so they gave us a free game on the house. Everything worked out fine. All the kids were great and had a blast. And most importantly, Kristjan enjoyed himself!

Once the party was over, we had to leave and go straight to dinner in Burien to celebrate our good friend Gordon's birthday, who happens to share the same day as Kristjan!! We were there along with all of his and his wife's families. We had a great time, and the food was delicious! Afterwards, we made a quick stop to see his sister Jennifer's new house, which was were the after party was being held. We only stayed a few minutes since her and her husband have a cat. We were given a quick tour before we had to say our quick goodbyes.

Fun at Island Time!!!!

Happy Birthday Gordon!!!

Cute side story: Gordon and Michelle's son is 2 (AND she's pregnant
with their 2nd one!!!). As soon as we walked into the restaurant, Caleb
walked over to say hi to the boys, wearing the biggest smile on his face. He wouldn't leave until both boys said hi to him. It was the sweetest thing!!
THIS was considered a SMALL plate. This was sooo much food!! BUT it was delicious!
Boys were fighting to sit next to Caleb, so we solved it by putting Caleb in the middle.
