iFLY Experience

The boys had the opportunity to go to iFLY for their friend Bob's birthday. If you're unfamiliar what iFLY is, it's indoor skydiving. Peter and I were so excited for the boys to have the chance to experience it. Clifford thought it was pretty cool. Kristjan, on the other hand, wasn't much of a fan. Each child was able to go twice; once where they're flying low and a second time where they got to fly up high with the instructor. Well, after taking his first turn, Kristjan refused to go on his second turn. He purposely moved back in line in between kids who had already taken their second turn just so he could avoid going again. We tried really hard to get him to go again, but it was no use. I admit, I was internally a little annoyed (because when else will he have this opportunity?!), but I reassured Kristjan I wasn't upset at him, and that I was proud of him to at least try it once. After the kids all took their turn flying, the party moved into the party room for pizza, cake, and gifts.
