Soccer and XC

It's that time of year when we don't have any free time on the weekend - SPORTS. Clifford double sported it again, doing soccer with his main team as well as Cross Country (XC) with the high school. We love watching him play soccer, but we discovered we love XC even more. It's excited watching watching Clifford race and to cheer him on. He has a great coach and a great group of kids on his team. In fact one of his teammates is also on his soccer team.

One of the many Sunday soccer games we attended.
At Clifford's first invitational in Olympia. Matt and Franie drove out to cheer Clifford on. And Franie made the most amazing tshirts for us to wear!

Clifford smiling at one of his soccer games. He had just scored a goal.
Clifford earned his uniform for the first meet! Coach doesn't give uniforms until each runner can complete a run from an invitational/meet without stopping to walk. So proud of Clifford!
We took a ferry trip over to Whidbey Island to cheer Clifford on at his next invitational.
Peter, Kristjan and I snuck away after Clifford raced for lunch.
