With Peter's foot injured, a backpacking trip for Labor Day was not gonna happen. Instead we pitched up a fly and inflated some mattresses and camped out in the backyard. We roasted hot dogs for dinner, and we made boys read books instead of being on their phones. Kristjan was just thrilled about this (*eye roll*). Peter and I thought it was fun considering the situation.
