Woodland Park Zoo

For Christmas, Pete's parents gave us yearly family pass to the Woodland Park Zoo. We were so excited to have this that we didn't waste anytime. The next day after boys came back from their visit to Yakima, we headed out for a family day at the zoo. It was really cold and overcast that day. The bright side of that was we practically had the zoo all to ourselves. The downside was most of the animals weren't out, so we were only able to look around half the zoo. Plus, we were freezing. The highlight of our visit was watching a snake enjoy his snack. One of the workers had just given the snake a little white mouse. Yummy! We enjoyed looking at what animals were out, and took plenty of pictures. I'm so excited to have the zoo pass. Between this and our pass to the science center, we'll have plenty of fun outings this coming year, especially during the summer!

Here are some various animals we saw on our trip

And just a few pics of us posing around the zoo
