This years family reunion was put on my Tara and Franie, and held at Moclips. The gals did a really good job organizing everything, and the location was GREAT! Our little family had a wonderful time and it was good to see everyone.
THURSDAY
Everyone arrived at some point on Thursday. Due to lots of accidents on I-5 we didn't get to the house until close to dinner time. After settling in (we ended up bunking with Daniel's family) and eating dinner, a group of us headed down to the beach.

FRIDAY
The entire day was basically spent on the beach. The morning view was beautiful!

If you squint hard enough, you can see the group right in the middle of the beach from the top balcony of the house.
After dinner that evening we all headed back down to the beach for a bonfire

SATURDAY
After munching on waffles for breakfast, we headed back down for another day at the beach, but unfortunately the weather wasn't as great as the day before.
I had a good laugh as I snap these next few pics of Michael and Uncle Tom. They were trying to figure out how to put this kite together...they ended up just shoving it back in the box. Their interaction was very comical :)
Peter's sandcastle. He wouldn't come in for dinner until it was complete.
The traditional Family Potluck Dinner. Uncle Gene and Uncle Dale drove down for the day and stayed for food.

Michael and Daniel were given the crocheted vests this year. Who will be lucky enough to get them next year?!?!
The family pic!!
This here was great. Tara and Franie had planned on doing a Bingo activity, but we just never got around to doing it. I believe one of the prizes was cans of silly string. So instead, Franie gave all the adults each a can of silly string. We then gathered all the kids into the garage, with the pretense of playing Bingo. We told them that on the count of three Franie would explain the rules of the game. But once she got to three, all the adults bombarded the kids with silly string. It was hilarious! Jessica has video of it on her Facebook, so if you get a chance to check it out, I highly recommend it. Just not sure how we can top this next year!
SUNDAY
Sunday morning everyone worked on cleaning and packing up. Carl and Niels were the first to leave, and they ended up forgetting Pugs. Multiple people tried contacting them but never got an answer. It wasn't until we were all about the leave that they finally showed back up for their pup. After that, hugs were given and we all departed. Another successful reunion in the books!
