Peter and I had a low-key New Years Eve. Clifford and Kristjan ended up staying behind in Yakima for a few more days, so it was just the two of us making the trek home. We stopped by home for a quick moment to unpack before heading back out to catch a ferry. Our good friends Gordon and Michelle recently bought a house out in Poulsbo. We hadn't had the chance to make it out there for a visit, so when they invited us over for New Years, we happily accepted. Besides us, they had Michelle's dad Ron and Gordon's cousin Mike over. It was a very relaxed atmosphere, which was nice because I was exhausted from being in the car most of the entire day. As always, the Guthries were amazing hostesses. Peter and I were happy to ring in the new year with our amazing friends!
Gage took a liking to Chewie
Peter trying out a new game Gordon and Michelle got for Xmas
Trying to figure out how to use a selfie-stick. These were the only good pics we could manage to get.
Caleb (their oldest), who I believe is 3, stayed up until midnight. He kept himself awake by playing Twister.....
...dancing with his mom....
...and having light saber battles!
Chewie kept looking at us like "are we going to bed yet???"
Happy New Year!!! Hello 2016!!!
