Last night we went to an Everett AquaSox game. The boys participated again in their school's
Hit A Home Run With Reading Program. They accomplished their four-week reading goals and were given a free ticket for the participation, as well as a voucher for a baseball and a ticket to a future game in August. Last night's game was designated for the school and we sat with fellow Martha Lake families. We let Clifford go sit off with a classmate, and at one point allowed the two of them to go off to the "foul ball" section to hang out other friends for a short period of time (and only because I could actually see him from my seat). Kristjan's best bud Cameron gave him an extra wristband that allowed them to have unlimited entries to the bouncy houses, so off they went to do that for a portion of time with Peter supervising them. I sat and talked with some other moms for a bit before deciding it was time to go. We only stayed for about half the game since it was a school night, plus Peter had worked almost a 12-hour day and I still needed to go home and decorate 54 cupcakes for class parties the next day AND finish up on all teacher gifts. We had fun though, and it was nice to get out of the house for a bit.
