15 Book Challenge and Root Beer Floats

Kristjan's class recently had a 15 Book Challenge, where they had to read 15 books of various genres in a three week period. For those students who completed the challenge, their teacher would give them a small party to celebrate their hard work. Kristjan was able to complete his in less than two weeks!! Last Thursday was the party. Only 15 students out of the whole class participated and completed the task. I came in during the last recess of the day to help volunteer for it. The kids played a game of musical chairs, and the kid that didn't find a seat at the end was out of the game and was able to come get their Root Beer (or Orange!) Float from me. The kids were also able to pick out one prize from the prize box. These kids were all smiles during this party :)
