We have been waiting all week for this delivery truck to show up......
A brand new washer and dryer!! And it's ours!!!
Peter and I have always fantasized about buying our very own washer and dryer. For most of our marriage we've lived in apartments, so even though we talked about it, it was never feasible. But then we moved into the house two years ago, and the conversation on it increased. Then earlier this year the dryer started squeaking....loudly! Peter has been awesome, twice printing parts to try to fix the issue. But then within the last two weeks the squeak has faintly started coming back. I just kept telling Peter that I wanted to wait until after our Disney trip before we consider going out to buy one. Well that went out the window last weekend when we were out one evening enjoying one of our evening dates. We walked into Best Buy to look around, but walked out with a delivery date on a new set of appliances!! It is pretty amazing to have these. Brand new...ONLY our germs will have touched it! It's obviously not the top of the line that we could have gotten, but it's also not the bottom of the barrel. The main feature we both agreed we had to have was the washer couldn't have an agitator. I'm so giddy with excitement that I've already done three small loads of laundry!
