Happy 4th of July! We invited a small crowd of friends over for a bbq dinner.
The boys were down in Yakima visiting for a week and a half. Mama Mickey sent us pics of their little celebration.
While the boys were down visiting family in Yakima they got to tag along to the Erickson Family Reunion (Mickey's side of the family) in Idaho. The boys got to meet cousins they've never seen before. They spent most of their time catching frogs.
While on our way to pick the boys up in Yakima, Peter and I stopped in Ellensburg for lunch at Rodeo City BBQ. This used to be my favorite place to eat when we lived there. 2008 was the last time we'd been there. Things have changed a bit since then, which we were a bit disappointed about. Now that I got my fix, we're good.
We took Clifford in FINALLY for a haircut. Our rule for him to have it long was keep it out of his eyes. Well, he refused to listen, and then when he'd be defiant, he'd glare at us through his hair.Oh No! We've been threatening for a long time to chop it off. So it finally happened. He wasn't too happy, but it looks so much better!
We celebrated 7-11 Day with free Slurpees! Clifford went with his friends after summer school class was over for the day. Kristjan (im)patiently waited for me to come home for work to go get his.
