Happy 38th Peter!!!
Peter took the day off from work for his birthday. We started off by enjoying an iced drink and pastry at Starbucks before making our way to the movie theater to watch the new X-Men Apocalypse (really good, by the way). Afterwards, we split some chicken teriyaki for lunch. In the late afternoon, Mel & James with their girls came over to join us for his birthday dinner. Peter requested Hawaiian Haystacks and Pineapple Upside Down Cake. The entire day was fun but low-key, just the way he wanted :)
