Thanksgiving

This year we brought Thanksgiving down to my family's house. It was actually a really enjoyable holiday, and we're grateful to be able to make the trip down and spend the holiday with (Great) Grandma and Grandma Jane.

Made a quick stop to visit cousins

Great pic of Peter smiling....including it just because :)
With my Grandpa passing away earlier this year, we decided there needed to be some holiday cheer. I found an artificial tree on my local Buy Nothing and brought it down for her. Peter helped set it up, while Jane and I decorated.
Managed to take a quick pic of Chewie and Jessie sitting still. They ran around and played the entire time we were there. Poor Sheeba, she wanted to play too but the house was too small for her to join in.
We took flowers and visited Grandpa
Peter and Clifford taking a turn at playing checkers....
 ...while the puppies all napped.
We played a few games of Uno before getting in the kitchen to whip up the Thanksgiving meal
Peter's turkey turned out DELICIOUS!

 Happy Thanksgiving!

End of Soccer Season

The soccer season ended a few weeks ago for the boys. They each played hard and did a great job. [Side Note: Kristjan even scored 2 goals in one game this season (huge accomplishment!)!]. Kristjan had his team party the day of his last game. Clifford will have his this coming Saturday. The team voted on bubble soccer. Looks like it'll be hilariously fun!

Chewie

Meet Chewie, our newest addition to our family!

He's a 5 month old Pom Mix. We were really lucky to get this little guy (Peter didn't think I had a chance!). He is really sweet and cuddly....as well as feisty and playful. He's integrated  really well into our family, and especially with Sheeba. It's hilarious watching the two dogs play with one another. It's even more entertaining watching Peter pack the little guy around in his arms around the house. Peter doesn't typically like "small yappy lap dogs", as he likes to describe them. However, Peter has fallen for the little guy. We've had Chewie for a full week now. So far, so good!

Sheeba meeting Chewie
Sheeba was very excited when we brought the new little guy in. She calmed down, but stayed close to whoever was holding Chewie.
Clifford with Chewie the night we brought him home, and then the next morning. Clifford got up at 5:30 am to play with the guy!
Peter cuddled all night with him
 Chewie loves his new daddy!
He loves to cuddle!
We had to make a trip to the pet store for puppy food. I made the mistake of bringing Peter with me, because 6 other puppy items later......Afterwards I needed to grab a few items for dinner. This pic is of Chewie riding in the cart at the grocery store. Peter didn't want to leave him in the car for the quick trip in.
This is how Chewie likes to ride in the car - laying in the middle of the front console. Guess he figured out that we can both pet him this way.
The boys love their new puppy!
It was only fitting to get him a dog tag that matches his name ;)
We gave him a bath. He's much easier to wash than Sheeba!
All fluffed up after his bath
Chewie finally got the nerve to go lay in Sheeba's bed with her yesterday morning.
It's really hard to get stuff done with him around....
Peter loves his new snuggle bug!
