First Day of School!

The first day of school went great! The day before, we took the boys to drop off their school supplies and to meet their teachers. Both boys have brand-new teachers, this is their first year teaching EVER. They seem really nice and enthusiastic, so we're hoping this will be a good year for both boys. On the morning of the first day of school I got in and made blueberry pancakes and bacon for the boys. Peter took the day off so he could help with taking them to their classes. While waiting in their class lines at school, Clifford tried acting cool and shooed me away from any hugs and kisses, whereas Kristjan still wanted me to hang out with him and walk him into his classroom (he looked like he was going to cry!). Once the bell rang and boys were in their classrooms, Peter and I made good use of our new freedom. We went out to do some early Christmas shopping and grabbed some Thai food for lunch. At the end of the day both boys came home with smiles on their faces. It appears they enjoyed their first day :)
