Lake 22

The week we made the trip down to Yakima the boys and I ended up skipping that week's hike with friends, but the next week we were back at it. The destination was Lake 22. Now, the hike itself was honestly really easy, but there was a section where we're on the side of the mountain without any tree cover. It happened to be another hot day, so we were exposed to the sun. That made it a little rough for all of us. The lake itself was very pretty and peaceful. After munching on some lunch, the kids played in the water. The fish in the lake were not afraid of us because they were swimming and jumping right next to the kids. Clifford thought that was cool. We spent an hour or so hanging out at the lake before making the trek back down. Another new hike to check off our list!

 After the hike, Anne invited us to her house for pizza dinner and a swim. Peter had work late that day, as well as go out to dinner with some clients, so I took her up on the offer. Even Sheeba got to come along to hang out!
