Soccer

This Fall we signed Kristjan up for soccer. He mentioned over the summer how he was interested in playing, and since he's more of a gamer, I jumped on it quick so I could get this kid outside!It was fun watching Kristjan play. His first game started out miserably, with him freezing up on the field and crying, but by the last game, he was definitely the most improved player. He was best at playing offense, and liked being goalie. Usually the goalie should block goals by grabbing the ball with their hands, but Kristjan was better at kicking the ball away. His best moment of the season was when he blocked a kick by kicking the ball far off the field. His coach praised him and his teammates rushed over to high-five him. Kristjan was all smiles and his confidence grew! The season lasted from September to the beginning of November. There were a few times we stood out in the freezing wind or rain cheering him on. It was exciting. We can't wait to sign him back up to play again.
