Field Day
June 15th was boys' field day at school. Pete and I volunteered to help out with the activities. We were in charge of the 'toilet water relay'. We filled two big buckets full of water, then added toilet paper and dirt. The object was to take a toilet plunger, run to the buckets, fill with as much water as you could, then run back and dump it in your teams bin. This was a hit with the kids!! Pete had a lot of fun with this. With each rotating class, he ran through the rules of the games with the kids and told him he filled the buckets up from the field's Honey Bucket. Kids kept coming up to me and asking me if this was true lol. It was fun to be there to help out and to also see the boys when it was their class' turn.
