Pete's Birthday

The Brignone Family came up and visited us. They brought along some yummy pizza and cake to help celebrate Pete's 31st bday. The kids had so much fun playing with each other at the playground and swimming in the pool. Kristjan had a blast swimming with his Aunt Dee and Aunt Marie. Kristjan never goes in the pool lately, but they got him to go in and he loved it. Clifford was so happy to see Howard; he let Howard wear (and keep) a pair of his favorite underwear as well as take home a lego guy. As soon as they arrived, Emma tried working her charm by pulling me to the side and say "maybe later we could go have some girl time". Lucky for her, we were able to take a few minutes and go off on our own. The Brignones and us went to the mall. I took Emma window shopping at some cool "girlie" stores. At the last store, Claire's, I let Emma pick out a cute little necklace and bought it for her as a gift. She was excited. It was great seeing them. Too bad we live so far away from each other.
