Corgi Races

Kristjan LOVES corgis. So much so that when I jokingly ask him if he had to choose between a car or a corgi puppy for his 16th birthday, he would choose the puppy! So when I saw Emerald Downs was promoting the Corgi Races, I just had to get tickets. We had a fun family day out. And all the corgis were soooo adorable!

Ocean Shores

Another great reunion in the books for the Nielsen Family. Here are some of the highlights:

• Location was at Ocean Shores. Loved the group campsite; private and tucked away from other campers (except for the occasional visitor who thought the group site bathroom was for anyone to use)
• Joe became twins with Peter with a foot injury of his own. Joe and Toni ended up spending a chunk of time at a local hospital getting it checked out.
• Celebrated Colton and Franie's birthdays.
• Uncle Carl and Niels drove up to spend an afternoon with us.
• Group lunch out.
• Lots of laughs and story telling.
• Lots of food.
• Switched up the dinner meals this year to include a "left over" night; worked great!
• Family time at the beach.
• Cousins making memories.
