Boys have officially been on summer vacation now for an entire month. So far, they've been to a baseball game, down in Yakima for a week for Cub Camp with Mama Mickey and cousins, the beach for the 4th of July, visited cousins up in Mt Vernon for a few nights, got a new dog (more on that later), and went on a camping trip...and now they're heading back down to Yakima again for a week to have one-on-one time with Mama Mickey (and Papa, when he's home). Below are pics from when the boys attended Cub Camp (they're all wonderful pics, but my absolute favorite is Clifford going down the slide while holding a chicken). Many may have seen them from Facebook, but for those who haven't, enjoy :)

AWWA in Denver
Back in June Pete flew to Denver for the annual AWWA show for work. Again, he was awesome help in the company booth. In fact, their booth won Best Company Booth!! (I had no clue there was actually an awards show for this!!). And as always, he was treated well: stayed in a nice hotel, ate out at yummy restaurants, some down time with co-workers at the bar, and even hit up a baseball game! Pete failed at taking pics for me, but he did manage to take a pic of a pic of him and some co-workers/salesmen acting silly. Next year the AWWA show will be in Boston. I've made it clear for a few years now that I will be going with him on that one. It happens to be during the week of our 10 year wedding anniversary, plus I have a brother that lives just outside of the Boston area that would be great to go visit. We're not sure if we'll be able to afford to bring the boys with us, plus they'll still be in school. If they can't tag along, hopefully Mama Mickey can come stay a week at our house while boys finish up school - I know they'd love that just as much as flying on an airplane :)

AquaSox Baseball Game
A few months before school got out for summer vacation, the boys participated in the Everett AquaSox Hit a Home Run With Reading program. Every student who participated in the five week reading program were given a free ticket to a baseball game on June 19th. So that evening we headed up to Everett for a little pre-game potluck party with a few other families before heading in to the stadium to watch the game. Boys enjoyed seeing their classmates and friends.
